Spoiled

Yesterday may have been Father’s Day, but I felt like it also could have been ‘Love your Wife Day’ since I was spoiled with the start of new landscaping and a grilled steak dinner made completely by my wonderful husband.  I hate to brag, but I am definitely feeling so blessed!

Also, I just want to say Happy (belated!) Father’s Day to my wonderful dad!  I love you very much and I am very thankful to have you as my father!

  1. That’s so sweet that your husband spoiled you this weekend! I love those flowers. The pictures of you and your dad are so pretty! I worked all weekend because Fathers Day is my holiday to cover at my second job. Not fun but my wallet will thank me later!

Thanks Sarah! Hydrangeas are definitely one of my favorite flowers. They are just so big and fluffy when fully bloomed…it’s easy to get a lot of ‘bang for your flower buck!’

I hope you had a great weekend even though you had to work! Making money definitely helps working to be worth it! 😉

  2. Awesome job to your hubby! You deserve it!

My husband does most of our landscaping. I’ll help every once in awhile and pull weeds or plant flowers, but that’s mostly his thing. 😉

Thanks girl! I honestly don’t even know where to start with landscaping, so having my husband enjoy it makes my life much easier! 🙂 I am just like you! Pulling weeds is my go-to!

  3. Your landscaping looks great! I cannot wait until I have my own house and can put my creativity to use in the yard! Hopefully I will have someone to help me out with it, too ;).

Thank you Hannah! It is definitely a work in progress, but it is starting to come together! 🙂

  4. What a sweet husband! You and your dad are too cute! I’ll email you soon girl! Long time no chat!

Yes please email me! We need to catch up! I have been keeping up with your life via blog though at least! 🙂

  5. So funny… my husband installed our landscaping this weekend! He used to work as a landscaper, so it’s all him. I’ll be happy to pull weeds once they start popping up though!

Ahh I know! I saw your picture on Instagram!

Great minds think alike! 😉 Oh, and I am a great weed puller too ha! That is about as far as my landscaping skills go!

  6. Gorgeous!! He did a great job! My husband is always in charge of the yard work. We had an agreement even before we got married that I would do most of the indoor cleaning (but he helps when I ask!), and he’d do the yard work! 😉

Too funny! Tim and I have that compromise too… He takes care of the outdoors, and I am more than happy to cook, clean and organize inside! 🙂
