I’m not a big drinker, but when the timing is right or when the weather is sunny and warm, I love a cold cocktail at happy hour with friends or on a date night with my husband. My favorite orders include a glass of wine, a mojito, a margarita, or my go-to drink of tequila, soda water and a splash of orange juice with a lime wedge. <– Always my wedding drink of choice and when I don’t want a lot of sugar in my drink!
Since I’m expecting, I still want to be able to enjoy a pretty drink on the patio – sans alcohol of course. We whipped up this springy mocktail for Easter and it’s been on repeat all week. The peach juice is pretty sweet so a little goes a long way, and the lime juice really cuts through all the sugar. It’s a great drink for everyone! And, if you want to spice it up a bit, include a little tequila or vodka into it for a mocktail turned cocktail.
Pretty Peach Mocktail for Spring
Ingredients (For Two)
1 cup crushed ice
4 oz. Peach Juice
12 oz. Soda Water
2 lime wedges
Add crushed ice to a pretty glass and then pour in 2 oz. Peach Juice, 6 oz. Soda Water, followed by a squeeze of lime. Toss the rest of the lime wedge into the glass and serve immediately. For a second mocktail, repeat the previous steps. Enjoy!
